Returns & Replacements

At Belles, we are committed to ensuring that you are fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward and customer-friendly return and exchange process. Please review the policy below to ensure a smooth experience.

General Return Policy
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • Return Request Timeline: Returns must be requested within 30 days from the date of delivery.
  • Product Condition: Items must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition as when they were received. This includes no cut wires, scratches, or signs of assembled and installed.
  • Packaging Requirements: Returns must include the original packaging with all parts, accessories, and documentation. Lamp shades must be returned in their original wrapping.
  • Sale Items: All sale or discounted items are also eligible for return within the 30-day return window.

Items not meeting these criteria, including those that have been used, assembled, or altered, may be subject to rejection or a restocking fee.

Return Process

  1. Contact Customer Service: To initiate a return, please reach out to our Customer Service team at service@belleslighting.com. Our team will provide you with detailed instructions, including the return address and shipping guidelines.
  2. Return Shipping: Returns can be shipped using a carrier of your choice. For your protection, we recommend pre-paying for shipping and insuring the return package. Belles is not responsible for any lost or damaged items if you choose to return the product yourself. Please confirm the return address with our Customer Service team before shipping.
  3. Freight Shipments: If your order was delivered via freight, please contact our Customer Service team to arrange for return shipping.

Return Shipping Costs 

  • Customer Responsibility: If the return is due to personal preference (e.g., you do not like the product), you are responsible for all return shipping fees.
  • Belles Responsibility: If the return is due to product issues (such as damage, defects, or incorrect items), Belles will cover the return shipping costs. 

Note: The delivery fee is non-refundable for returned orders unless the item is being returned due to a manufacturer defect or was damaged in transit. In these cases, Belles will cover both the return shipping fees and the original delivery fee.

Refunds

  • Tax Refund: The tax amount you paid for your order will be refunded along with the product cost.
  • Delivery Fees: As mentioned, the delivery fee is non-refundable unless the return is due to a manufacturer defect or transit damage. 
  • Refund Process: Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you regarding the status of your refund. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Processing Times: Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since the approval of your return, please reach out to service@belleslighting.com for assistance.

Damaged or Defective Merchandise 

We take great care in packing and shipping our products. However, should you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please follow these guidelines: 

  • Notify Us Promptly: Contact our Customer Service team within 48 hours of receiving the item to report the damage or defect. We will work quickly to resolve the issue, offering a replacement or a refund where applicable. 
  • Packaging: Do not dispose of any broken or damaged items or packaging. We may need to inspect the item and the original packaging to process your return.
  • Supporting Evidence: Please include photos of the damaged item and its packaging when you contact Customer Service.

Exclusions
Certain items are not eligible for return or exchange: 

  • Installed or Assembled Items: Products that have been installed or assembled cannot be returned. 
  • Custom Orders: Items that have been custom-made or personalized to your specifications are not eligible for return or exchange. 

Order Cancellations

Orders are processed quickly, and we strive to ship items as soon as possible. As such, we cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been placed. If the order has already been shipped, you may return the item in accordance with the return policy outlined above.
